This record has been delayed for a long time, as T.I. is hoping to score massive hit equal to his Paper Trail era as he leads into his forthcoming album Trouble Man LP. His latest attempt comes in the form of the New Orleans bounce influenced, “Ball” featuring Lil Wayne. The record which was produced by Rico Love and Earl & E doesn’t strike me as hard as “Trap Back Jumpin” by any means – but is still a solid cut.

No way T.I.’s leaving 2012 with a radio hit, but not sure if he’ll score it with this one. In fact, with the seasoned veteran he is – should he even be worrying about a massive hit? His peers like Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Nas, and more have released albums recently without major chart success and they’ve done moderately well. While it helps, in this case – we think it would be better for T.I. just to drop the album.
