Missy Elliott’s presence in the game is starting to be felt again as she’s doing this little promotional run to promote her dual singles, “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat.” She stopped by MTV RapFix with Sway to answer some questions from the fans and the topic of an all ladies rap tour. It then spilled into a discussion about the Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj rap feud.
Missy Elliott doesn’t take a clear side on the discussion, but hopes for a solution built on the word “respect.” I agree wholeheartedly with Missy Elliott, but likely – it isn’t going to go down. While the feud between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim has calmed down, it certainly hasn’t died as you can instantly bring a scowl to each of their faces with just the mere mention of the other. A line-up featuring Missy Elliott, Eve, Lil Kim, Rye Rye, M.I.A. – now THAT would be amazing.
