This is probably spiraling out of control, especially with the way it’s being hyped up and the feelings evoked from New Yorkers from the comment Lil Wayne made earlier in the day. But dammit, I find this more entertaining than anything – and I’m a resident of New York. Responding to Lil Wayne’s statement, “Flat Out: I Don’t Like New York”, NY Senator Malcolm Smith demanded Lil Wayne apologize to the city/state of New York saying that by that statement, he’s insulting greats like Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z (He’s said worse about Jay-Z). Birdman would also respond to the entire situation, riding with Lil Wayne “If he don’t like it – we don’t like it. I don’t like it if he don’t like it. If he said it, that’s law.”
