In a world where Lil Wayne talks about flat out not liking New York, it seems like the new anthem for my fair city is prospering quite well. With the numbers coming in this week, seems like Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ massive anthem “Empire State Of Mind” crossed the 5 million mark in digital sales. The record, which first hit number one on November 28th 2009, and stayed there for 5 weeks, has become the biggest hit for both artists in their lengthy careers. Congratulations.
