Backstage at the OVO Fest last weekend, Drake spoke to Much Music and while he did touch on the festival – the main focus of the interview stemmed on the upcoming Aaliyah project. For the first time, he spoke about it and clarified a lot of things that many people have criticized him for over the past couple of weeks. It seems like him and Noah “40″ Shebib are indeed taking the reigns of the project, but they won’t be the only ones involved.
Drake makes it clear that we might get 13-14 new Aaliyah songs, and they’ve reached out to her family and past collaborators with Aaliyah to help with the project. Should be out be out before the end of the year.
