Diamond has been serious about making some waves in female rap, and considering she’s been one of the only acts consistently out in the past few years alongside the Nicki Minaj reign – I’d say she’s due. She’s finally finished working on her project, The Young Life – which will be released on August 28th and has thrown out the first single, “American Woman” featuring popular singer/songwriter Verse Simmonds. A step away from her usual southern anthem, she decides to take a route that could very well pave a path to some solo radio success. Listen to the record below..
