About time we got some new music today. On this incredibly slow music day, Kendrick Lamar stands alone in releasing his brand new single “Swimming Pools (Drank).” The T-Minus produced track has K. Dot rapping about getting all faded and fucked, and of course lyrically is on point. With the current tracks that have surfaced, such as “Cartoon and Cereal”, and the light summer record “The Recipe”, it seems that Kendrick Lamar has a story to tell on his forthcoming album good kid, m.A.A.d city on October 2nd. In describing the track, he simply says “‘Truth’ stories and melodies. It’ll make sense later. #SwimmingPools.” Listen below..
