If there’s any shot that 50 Cent has on making a strong project, it’s this one. For the umpteenth time, it seems like the war between him and Interscope is over – and they’re heading on the right track in terms of dropping off this new 50 project. With the single, “New Day” featuring Alicia Keys and Dr. Dre already garnering quite the support, Interscope released a press release revealing the release date of 5th studio album, Street King Immortal.
50 Cent released his single “New Day” featuring Alicia Keys and Dr. Dre. The track, produced by Dr. Dre, is the lead single from his fifth studio album, Street King Immortal which will be released on Shady/Aftermath/Interscope on November 13th.
It’ll be interesting to see if both 50 and Interscope wisen up and take a few new techniques in ensuring this is a successful album. The overall climate of rap has changed since 50 Cent was the hottest one doing it, and I feel like we have to reach that level of buzz again to even ensure any kind of success this time around.
