Well, looks like ANY weapon is off limits here in the Big Apple. TMZ reported moments ago that 2 Chainz has been arrested at LaGuardia Airport in NY today for carring a pair of brass knucks in his carry-on bag.

2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps (who also goes by the name Tity Boi) — was entering the Delta terminal to fly to a show in North Carolina … when the TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag.

Law enforcement tells TMZ … police were called to the scene … and 2 Chainz was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon at 1:45 local time.

UPDATE: So in more 2 Chainz getting arrested news, guess what WASN’T brass knuckles? Apparently, what was identified as brass knuckles is nothing more than 2 Chainz’ four finger ring that actually says dope.

The ring says “DOPE” in big letters — and sources tell TMZ, 2 Chainz rocked it no problem at an Atlanta club called the Velvet Room on Sunday.

According to sources close to the rapper, Chainz then flew to NYC without incident — with the ring in his luggage — but when he tried to leave the city today, TSA at LaGuardia Airport mistook the jewelry for a dangerous weapon.
